Project Overview
TUID was appointed to provide interior design, conceptual development, and supervision services for a large-scale rest area development along the Qurryat-Sur Road in Oman.
Spanning an expansive 15,000 sqm, the project aims to deliver a seamless blend of utility, comfort, and recreational amenities for travelers and long-distance commuters.
Design highlights
TUID’s design vision emphasized functionality, accessibility, and local character. Each component was thoughtfully planned to serve the unique needs of travelers, with a focus on efficient circulation, clear zoning, and ease of maintenance. Natural tones and materials were selected to reflect the Omani landscape, while green outdoor zones added life and comfort to the otherwise utilitarian site. The result is a modern rest area that balances service infrastructure with experiential design, setting a new standard for roadside hospitality in the region.
